Play date at the Chicago Zoo!

On Monday of this week Cami had a play date at the Brookfield Zoo in Chicago. Yes...this was her second zoo in one week, but we love animals so it was still very fun!

Cameron and Emilia shared the double stroller. They are going to grow up to be great friends!We saw many different animals.The boys, Damien and Brayden, liked walking sometimes and riding in the wagon other times.Cami and Emilia had a front row seat to see many of the animals.The boys got up close and personal with this Kangaroo!Then we went into the ape house!After the ape house everyone was getting sleepy!Damien and Mrs. Ewa went on the carousel while everyone else relaxed.Some more than others!!

Our trip (part five)

While on vacation Cameron went to Great Aunt Maria's favorite restaurant, Cracker Barrel. While there Cami had carrots, green beans and a french fry. Yummy!! The next day while hanging out at the house Cami had her first potato chip! Wow, that was good!!

Our trip (part four)

Cameron sitting on the couch ready to go to the pool!!! It was so sunny yesterday so we finally got to get in Great Aunt Maria and Great Uncle Bobby's pool! Cami was all ready to go in her suite and cover up. Her hula skirt had been bought in Hawaii by Great Aunt Maria! We got on the raft first because the water was pretty cold!
Then after getting a small bit of the water up on the raft with us, it was time to try Cami's own floaty. She had a great time kicking her legs, pushing off on the under water steps and splashing with her little fish.
After a while it was time to get out, get dressed, play for a while and then take a nap. (outside!!)

Our trip (part three)

We went to the National Zoo on Thursday! It had been raining in the morning but it stopped so we still decided to go, Cami got to see many animals before it started raining again. Including the gorillas with their new baby girl! In the end the sun came out again and Cami had her picture on this little bear! Before leaving Cousin Heather got to see the seals!
