From Maui we took the Super Ferry to Oahu! It was a very nice and relaxing three hour ride with great seating and amazing views. Check out Cami's hair in this green dress! (It really is not that red in real life.) At our hotel there were mini palm trees. Just Cameron's size!
Cameron sported her Hawaiian jammies in Oahu. She wore them all day because we were going to some windy places! First we went to the Punch bowl and saw some very nice views. Then we went higher on the up the mountain to a place called Pali, which is the windiest place in all of Oahu.
From Pali we continued on to the Aloha tower for some shopping and lunch at Hooters.
After lunch we went to the Palace. This is the only royal palace in the United States! The next day we got up and went on a road trip to the North Shore. We started at the Dole plantation and then continued on to the beach. Finally we stopped at a shrimp truck for a late lunch.
On Saturday we got up really early (5:30am) and climbed a mountain called Diamond Head. Mommy started with Cami in the front carrier and then handed her off to Daddy before the crazy climbing began! To get to the top we had to hike a dirt trail, then climb some stairs, then go through a tunnel and then more stairs and more stairs! Oh yeah, and the whole time we had to get past hundreds or maybe thousands of Japanese people who thought Cami was just the cutest thing they had ever seen. Daddy and Cami went through a tight walkway where hundreds of Japanese girls put up their hand to give Cami a "high-five". We are going to get her a shirt that says "I'm huge in Japan"!
After our climb we went to breakfast and said goodbye to the Wilde family. They were off to their cruise ship and we were headed to the Polynesian Cultural Center.
At the Polynesian Cultural Center we saw two small shows and then had dinner before seeing an amazing evening song and dance show.
